Laurie Manthos, DMD is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA, with a degree in Biology. Dr. Manthos then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, receiving her DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine). While at Tufts, Dr. Manthos was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She graduated magna cum laude in 1987. In 1991 she completed a four year surgical residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Her residency included work at Tufts/New England Medical Center, University Hospital and Boston City Hospital.
After completing her residency, Dr. Manthos entered into private practice at 200 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA in 1991. She has been Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ABOMS) since 1994.
Dr. Manthos has served on the executive board of the Worcester District Dental Society in the past as a chairperson for the educational committee. For over fifteen years, she continues to serve as an adviser to the Worcester District Dental Assistants Association. Dr. Manthos has served as a peer evaluator of office anesthesia for the Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
